Schedule: Saturdays, Sept 14 – Sept 28, 2024

Students must have electroforming equipment.

Hosted by Zurich Glass School, Electroforming Using Conductive Materials focuses on construction using previously electroformed components. Our project may include electroformed flowers, leaves, insects, charms and non-reactive materials and embellishments such as cubic zirconia, glass gems, and beads. Creation of an arm cuff is used to illustrate techniques taught in this class. Participants are encouraged to utilize the cuff assembly which will be shown in class, however application of the techniques to their own designs are encouraged.

Students should be familiar with basic electroforming procedures.

  • Classes will be held for 3 consecutive Saturdays starting September 14 using a Zoom Format
  • There will be an online Facebook group available where students will meet to show progress and creativity.
  • You will also be signed up to the ‘watch back’ facility on the class channel on the ZGS website.
